Refund Policy
Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refund Policy
Aberus Technologies' Right to Cancel
1. Aberus Technologies reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course date or to change a course location at any time. Students will be entitled, at their discretion, to attend the course at the proposed later date or to receive a full refund of any course fees they have already paid to attend the course on the original date.
2. Aberus Technologies reserves the right to cancel an enrollment based on conduct violations prior to course start date. If a student display threatening, abusive, or dangerous behavior toward any of our staff or personnel, then Aberus Technologies reserves the right to refuse to allow the student to continue taking the course. In such circumstances, a student will not be entitled to a refund of any fees and Aberus Technologies reserves the right to prevent the student from taking any course in the future if we feel that is necessary for the protection of our staff or personnel.
3. Aberus Technologies reserves the right to cancel an enrollment or disenroll a student for delinquent past-due balances.
Student’s Right to Cancel
1. Students have the right to cancel their course before the seventh day after class start date.
2. Cancellation is effective when the student provides a written notice of cancellation by emailing billing@goldendatatech.com. The notification is effective when Aberus Technologies receives notice.
3. The written notice of cancellation need not take any form and however expressed; it is effective if it shows that the student no longer wishes to be bound by the Enrollment Agreement.
4. If the Enrollment Agreement is canceled, the school will refund the student any money they paid, less a registration processing fee of $58.16 or an amount equal to 2.9% of the tuition, whichever is higher.
Withdrawal
Students may withdraw from the course at any time after the cancellation period (described above) and refunds are determined in accordance with the Refund Policy stated below.
For the purpose of determining a refund under this section, a student shall be deemed to have withdrawn from a course when any of the following occurs:
• The student notifies Aberus Technologies in writing of the student’s withdrawal or as of the last date of attendance, whichever is later. The failure of a student to immediately notify Aberus Technologies in writing of the student’s intent to withdraw may delay any applicable refund of tuition to the student.
• Aberus Technologies terminates the student’s enrollment for failure to abide by the rules and regulations. In this case, the official termination date of enrollment shall be the student’s last day in class. Students who withdraw due to an emergency, such as personal or family illness or national service, may be re-enrolled into another Aberus Technologies course.
Refund Policy
All refunds will be paid within 30 days of withdrawal. Refunds will be less a registration processing fee (described in the above).
If you get a student loan or other approved financing, you are responsible for repaying the loan amount plus any interest, less the amount of any refund.
Students who choose to fund their tuition pursuant to an income share agreement should consult their income share agreement for more information about the application of their refund policy. Aberus Technologies does not participate in federal or state financial aid programs.
The student will receive a full refund of tuition and fees paid if the school discontinues a program or standalone course within a period a student could have reasonably completed it, except that this provision shall not apply in the event the school ceases operation.
Postponement of a starting date requires a written notice from the school to the student.
If the course is not commenced or the student cancels registration by the new start date set forth, the student will be entitled to an appropriate refund of prepaid tuition and fees within 30 days of the deadline in accordance with the school’s refund policy.
Generally, Aberus Technologies does not permit postponement of start dates by students. Students must instead withdraw and re-enroll in a course of their choosing on their chosen date.
